Author of various proposals (some enacted) to update and improve the Massachusetts banking laws. Most recently, I served as a member of the Task Force on Competitiveness of the Massachusetts Bankers Association, helping develop c. 482 of the Massachusetts Acts of 2014, a comprehensive updating of the Massachusetts banking laws.
Lectures on Financial Institutions Mergers & Acquisitions and other subjects at Boston University Law School's Graduate Program in Banking and Financial Law. From time to time makes presentations to Bar and CLE panels on Bank Mergers & Acquisitions, the Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, the application of antitrust law to community bank M&A, Massachusetts Banking Law Update, and other topics of banking law and regulation.
